11/19/05 SO132 4 4 3 2 emoticon smiley flag   This is really a polysci class called Sociology of Globalization, or current events and how horrible Bush is. He has tenure, so that's clearly how he's able to talk about whatever he wants, regardless if it has anything to do with sociology. Make sure on writing assignemtns you use a liberal bias, or else you'll get a bad grade. Easy class, I guess

5/22/05 SO 132 4 4 4 4 emoticon smiley flag   Class is a little bit boring, but there is no final! Grade is based upon class participation and journals/final paper. If you pay attention the least bit you will do fine in the class. Research paper takes a while, but the topic is open, so its not that bad. Overall, the class is pretty good. Do not take early in the day however.
4/27/05 so 2 4 3 3 emoticon smiley flag   not a bad class, mostly discussion and videos. pretty laid back prof. 6 papers throughout the semester and a final research paper. all papers are pretty open ended and you have to choose the specific topic.
