Marcy is a good teacher. She makes English interesting with lots of field trips. It's English 1a but it feels a lot more like California history. It is a little depressing studying how badly minorities have been treated here. She grades easy so if you get the papers done on time you should be fine. Over all, I would recommend her. | ||

Marcy is a sweetheart, very willing to work with you. her subject matter was generally overdone and dull (she actually tried the brown-eyes blue-eyes experiment, but couldn't begin to pull it off) but she sure as hell tried to keep us interested! i loved the trip to the museum, and the woods. old fashioned and a bit condecending, but heart of gold. | ||

Mediocre to poor. Your experience with her is very much dependent on her opinion of you. If she doesn't like you, she'll go out of her way to make things rough for you; it even effects he grading. My advice is to steer clear. There's loads of good English teachers around that are far more balanced than Marcy. | ||

She is an amazing teacher and person. I took her class years ago. I am in Grad School now and I still think back on her class and the lesson I learned. Marcy is a gem. | ||

I love Marcy- she is the best english teacher ever. Really helpful with writing. Never took a straight english class from her (only creative writing) but she is seriously amazing. don't be late to class! (or you have to bring food next time : ) | |
