Gus is a good guy, and he knows his stuff. The only problem I had with him was the fast that he went waaaayy too fast covering the material toward the end of the year. If you have him, get ready for the exams because they're tough. Overall, he was a good professor and is willing to help whenever he can. | ||

Coming from someone who never took high school physics, and w/U of M's overall reputation for difficult physics, Gus was a good professor to have. He lectured efficiently and clearly. Sometimes he went a lil' fast and was hard to follow, but for the most part, he was a good & enthusiastic teacher. His exams can be tough though, so study hard. | |

Gus is the most terrible professor that ever was. Physics 140 was way more painful than it needed to be, he never used lecture time efficiently, was never clear when he was lecturing and was all around terrible. I don't know what other people are thinking on this website, but he is probably the worst human being i've ever met. | ||

Gus is an awful professor. If lecture was not part of my grade, I would have never gone because his explanations are so short and fast that it's difficult to follow if you haven't read the book beforehand. All resources, book, help room, professor, are not helpful. Class was much harder than it should have been. | ||

very good prof. he is very helpful and very clear. he teaches his class with a lot of enthusiasm so it is as fun as physics can be. he does a lot of good demos. if you can take gus, do. his exams are very fair. | ||
