Extremely engaging lecturer. Upfront with expectations. Gives you a list of potential exam essay questions and then picks from that list for the exam. Entertaining and manageable. |

I took this class online and it proved to be the worst decision I've made thus far. Class is extremely unorganized and you basically have to figure out the entire curriculum on your own. Don't bother with this one, take it in the classroom. |

It is not the interest of the class that is being debated, it is the quality of the professor. Yes, the class is interesting and you must work really hard for your grade, but this teacher is not the one to go to for help. I completely understand what other people mean when they say he is arrogant. I wrote him like 5 emails and got a reply to one. |

I took the online section and I thought it was really interesting. Hoefling is ok, but he hardly ever replies to e-mail which can get quite annoying when you have questions about exams. Do read the book and scan the lectures and you should do fine. Overall interesting and pretty easy class. Exams are all multiple choice |

I got an A- in this child psych class online, and this teacher is an arrogant and unhelpful professor who is more worried about acting like a professional than actually teaching you. He overuses the world "utilize" and actually says "irregardless." Avoid this teacher, but if you do get him, read the text: 20 of 54 Q's are from the book. Boring! |
