1/23/09 STAT383 2 3 3 1 emoticon_undecided flag envelope (this is the course listed in other ratings as MA383) Rambles on is class about incomprehensible stuff, which is hard to understand with his accent, but when he teaches the book, can understand him. Very good about giving help whenever needed during office hours
11/2/08 MA132 2 1 2 2 emoticon_unhappy flag   Not good. The most understandable thing was his hand-writing. He would mostly babble, and when you asked a question he would normally just repeat himself, which doesn't help. Extra difficult tests using problems not covered in class/book.

1/17/06 MA 211 3 5 5 2 emoticon smiley flag   Abbas is a very good professor who gets excited over what he is teaching. He really cares about his students and he doesn't have really any accent at all.
11/15/05 MA211 3 5 5 2 emoticon smiley flag   Not sure what others' problems were, perhaps he has improved or maybe the Freshmen were just extremely hard on him. Either way, he was very clear, helpful, and an overall excellent teacher even though MA211 (Foundations) isn't even close to being an easy course. To comment on his speech: he does ** NOT ** have a thick (or hardly any) accent.
