5/29/09 CPS150 5 5 5 4 emoticon smiley flag   Professor Adams is underrated. It seems to me that he has a first rate intellect and varied interests; I heard he's going into retirement and it would be a shame for a mediocre college like F&M to lose a professor like him. He also has a really kind heart, and an almost infinite reservoir of corny jokes to make you smile.
5/1/08 CPS150 4 5 5 5 emoticon smiley flag   Adams is a good teacher who is really into his subject
4/14/08 CPS150 4 4 4 2 emoticon smiley flag   The class started out extremely easy, but then all of the sudden it got really hard, by then end of the class I had no idea of what I was doing. He's a nice professor though, not mean at all. He tries to help his students.
12/24/05 CPS150 4 5 4 2 emoticon smiley flag   Did not know what the class was before taking it, now have a so-so understanding of Java. Very hard to comprehend if you have never taken comp sci before, but he is very good a supplying help on the homeworks and he is always readily available. tries to be funny. he is not, but good teacher, hard to get an A though
12/6/05 CPS 150 3 4 3 5 emoticon smiley flag   The previous rating was done by me also, this is an addendum to that. The class is easy the first half of the semester and then gets insanely hard halfway through. The only saving grace is that the tutors and Prof. Adams will help you write the programs so you can still get an A.
