take my word- if you have to take calculus, TAKE PHIL. calculus is hard, but he explains everything really well. anyone who tells you differently is lazy and didn't make enough effort in the class. study for the one question quizzes, sometimes they come right off of his notes, and they can really boost your grade. and he DOES NOT have an accent. | ||

He makes the class a lot easier. Gives chances to gain extra points on tests. He is very helpful and will answer any question. Take him!!!! | ||

Tests are very challenging but he is a nice guy and very laid back. He also speaks perfect English which is a plus- especially in the math department! | ||

I definitely recommend Phil for Calculus. I was really scared of taking it at UGA, but Phil is really laid back, gives you opportunities to boost your grade with homework presentations and easy quizzes, and works a lot of examples in class. Don't be intimidated to go to office hours; he is so helpful and will give hints about the test! | ||

Phil is great. He's young and tons of fun. You can ask him ANYTHING and he will always help you out (and he genuinely wants to help you). I really enjoyed him, and I pulled off a B in the class. | ||
