Nancy , while perfectly sweet in a grandmotheresque way coughed her way through most of our lectures, and didnt seem to have time to discuss anything but feminism. She was nice to be around but incredibly vague about why her lecture subject related to our learning. Shes retired after this quarter, so who cares? | ||

Nancy, acting as senior faculty (over two newer teachers) usurped the entire program and moulded it around her own basic interests -- feminism and chicano literature. This would have been fine, except the class was touted as a philosophy class. She was unapproachable and rude. Once she actually left the course, the program became much better! | ||

Nancy Allen is a wonderful, open-minded teacher whose love of her occupation is evident every day. Her teaching style screams 'Evergreen' (after all she is a founding member of the college). Though she has been around for 60-some years she is young at heart as well as mind. | ||
