Without a doubt, the best teacher I have ever had. He is super passionate and knows his stuff. He runs his class like a democracy and lets you decide how much tests and papers are worth. There is a lot of reading but its very interesting stuff. He is leaving FSU but if he stay, definitly take him. | ||

Professor Young is awesome. Either call him Joe or teach. Attendence is mandatory, but it reflects in your grade. Lets students determine grade weights and is very approachable. Tests were straight from lectures and easy to understand.No trick questions.Gave equal emphasis to every perspective and did not lean to one way or the other.Awesome Class | ||

great teacher. LOTS of reading but it was very interesting material. extremely knowledgable in terrorism. very helpful with any papers or confusion during class. mixes lectures with videos, group assignments, etc. would take him again in a heartbeat | |
