He usually taught from handouts. The textbook was pretty crappy and even he didnt like it. Extremely approachable will respond to emails even over weekends. You can stop by during office hours or he will meet you other times if you cant. He is also willing to hold review sessions. Highly recommend him
Great teacher. I was never afraid to ask questions, and always got great answers. Always pleasant, has time for students. Great clarity. The only caveat is that I think he is best suited to teaching those who are gifted at math. He doesn't refrain from delving into the mechanics of math, and it can be difficult to follow. still recommended though!
I have already Taken this class, but his teaching style different from others in the Mathematics department. In the midst my ongoing struggle to stay awake, I do find that he teaches math in style which betters that of many other teachers I have come across.
