4/14/07 SOC389 2 5 5 4 emoticon smiley flag   I found the instructor very caring about her students. As for the information, there is lots of it, and the tests were hard. However, instuctor has been very fair in grading and also has given extra credit to help out. I find her very fair, and the class is very intersting.
1/27/07 Soc330 2 4 4 4 emoticon smiley flag   I have had Dr. Marker several times and she is one of my favorite teachers. She is helpful if you are willing to work. You need to know the material and pull your weight in the class otherwise you will not survive. She does not stray from her teaching formula so if you have her once you generally know what she does for all her classes.
11/9/06 SOC330 5 3 1 5 emoticon_unhappy flag   Dr. Marker is adept at setting up elaborate straw men -- usually by means of the most obfuscated reasoning available -- and gleefully knocking them down. Afloat in generalities, she relies on nonspecificity and fuzzy logic to get by. Definitely a one-step-aheadder.
