Dr. Mitchner is probably the kindest, most helpful prof at CofC. He wants his students to do well; he presents the information in a variety of ways and gives handouts, he allows students to use notes on the test (at least in my bus.calc class), and he is very helpful during office hours. I have an easy A in his class and I highly recommend him. | ||

He's an okay teacher. I think he's new, so he was really nervous and shaky in my class. He is also a huge nerd who knows pretty much everything about math. He is very thorough but if you don't get it the way he explains it, he can't really explain it any other way. If you are good at math, you'll be fine, but if not, look elsewhere. | ||

Dr. Mitchener is a great teacher. He's really helpful in office hours and his exams are very fair. He occasionally tells a corny joke :) | ||

I took business calc before and had to drop it. Dr. Mitchener is much clearer than the professor I had before. He is also very helpful in office hours and cares about his students. | ||

This professor is good only if you are a math major or you are very interested in math-a math lover. He is thorough and very knowledgeable, and tries to make things as clear as he can. However, if you are not a math major, and you are not good at math I would highly suggest someone else, because he may be very unclear and it will be hard to keep up | ||
