The base of the statue (The feet) was made up of different materials that didn't mesh together to allow it to stand. The mighty statue collaped because the foundation was not strong enough to hold all of that weight up. This to me is what we are seeing today in terms of the goverments and the economy. and govermental agreement in the terms of organization.
