Where did all the ratings go?!!! What good is a rating site that doesn't keep the ratings?

I noticed that all the ratings from the past are gone.

What good is a Rate My Professor site if all the ratings are wiped clean all the time?

I have spent 4 years rating my professors so that people could make informed decisions about their courses and professors. Now that it is all gone, it is like all the professors get a new beginning so they can screw over more unsuspecting students.

I am outraged and everyone else should be to. We should come together and move on to a new ratings site with some common sense.

Anyone have any suggestions of new sites to rate professors?

I'm looking forward to what everyone has to say.

Sincerely,
Where are the ratings in California

This may just be an issue with your school or region. At my school, there are professors that have ratings dating all the way back to the early 2000s when I click on see all ratings. I would try contacting the regional admin. for California.

Seriously, you think you would be regarded as a good resource for other students when you chose "BongUser" as your name? Were I a student at your school, I would have probably decided that you were wrong about 100% of the time.

I can choose my name to be whatever I want just like you chose to pretend to be a doc. Your username doesn't change who you are.

I was also wondering what happened to all the ratings, it happened for my school too...Most of my ratings are gone except for a select few (not sure why those were left).

I really don't care about the name you chose to use. I do check my professors before registering and every time the advice has hit the nail. What most people say is absolutely true. However, I do agree that the ratings have to be kept for at the very least two or three years. People change and so do ratings, but we cannot or should not erase past ratings.

As the Regional Co-Ordinator for the NorthEast, I can state unequivically (hope I spelled that right)that we do not "purge" any of the older ratings.

There are many good websites on internet that provide useful ratings for various universities that excel in MFA Creative writing programs

I can state

un-equi-vocal -ly

with not-equal-voice

To state something equivocally means that there could equally be two meanings to what you are saying. So, "I can state unequivocally" means that what you are about to say can only have one meaning.

If you think about what a word means (i.e. where it came from), it becomes easier to spell.

Well, my actually having a doctorate might be one reason to call myself "Doc." Sure, you can choose your name--if you chose "In-bred moron" would you expect much respect for that choice? Seriously, "BongUser" just does not speak of someone making intelligent analysis of his or her professors.

An excellent site to rate professors is http://www.inkampus.com. They do not delete your ratings or modify it or hide it.
