I understand the rule that's causing my ratings to keep getting flagged no matter how much I try to water it down. But I don't agree that simply trying to help students should go into the same category as defamation. Honestly, isn't it important to warn girls that they WILL FAIL and possibly be harassed if they take a class with this guy? Everyone in the department knows about him, but no one warns the students. It's the same thing every semester. Girls enroll for the class, he screams at them for being there, makes terribly crude remarks, fails their assignments and tests immediately, they're gone by midterm. It's a waste. They could be enrolling in a class that they can actually use for credit. It's just stupid not to warn them. Isn't that one of the main purposes behind this website? So that students can better avoid terrible teachers? The school isn't going to fire him; he's tenured. Why can't we put this site to some real use? |
