Do these ratings look suspicious to you?

Alright, first off I am not in this professor's class, nor have I taken it in the past, nor have I met anyone that took it... I scoped it out because I was considering taking a computer science course. And WOW, was I surprised at the awful ratings. Anyways, by the look of things this professor, or some friends of his, went and made four straight pages of similarly-written excellent reviews.

I hate to think that professors OR students would try and tilt the RMP system unfairly.

Don't take the class. A lot of those dates are very close together. Teachers do rate theirself. I had one that told the class he rated himself and he was horrible. STAY AWAY!

Well of course I won't take the class now Naldo... surely there must be some way to tell a moderator or something about all the suspicious ratings, barring reporting them all one by one? I DID report that last one, and it gives me hope that it is now "Under review"

Something similar is going on with one teacher at my school, only fice times a day.

The trouble is that I don't think you can definitely prove it's a teacher rating themselves, or someone who really feels that way. It's pretty frustrating because there are ratings that I know don't add up, but there's not much you can do except flag them and hope for the best.

I was able to "Report False reviews" by contacting RMP. Dunno if that accomplished anything, but hopefully it did... gawd, you would hope that instead of lying to everyone these people would realize there is a problem and try to improve... sigh.

Talk about dredging up old topics but... Yeah, there was an option to "Report false reviews". Still have to check if anything was done about them...

Sigh... nothing at all has been done about my complaint. It makes me question the validity of the website a little bit.
